a friend has a sewing supplies shop and she asked me to create a holder of some sort for storing yarn as it was being knitted. after a bit of research and time spent looking at designs and options, I came up with this little pot. each pot is hand cut and hand stitched, the base is formed by soaking the leather and stretching it over a wooden form, leaving it for a couple of days, waxing and cutting it to shape.
for creatives and gardeners, a beautiful and unusual gift for storing and dispensing not only yarn or twine, but also to keep small things handy where you need them. it will hold light weight items, hangs from doorknob, cabinet knobs, hooks etc or just set it down and fill. handle opening fits over a standard doorknob or cabinet knobs.
